Giving Back

Creating art brings joy and fulfillment to the artist, and, hopefully brings joy to those who view it. A founding principle of the company is that of returning a portion to charitable causes as a way of improving lives beyond the circle of patrons and viewers.

Since the beginning in 2008, Kathleen Bates Designs has supported the following charitable and non-profit ventures:

  • Ronald McDonald House Charities
  • National Laboratory Week at Northside Hospitals of Atlanta, Canton and Cumming, GA
  • Smile Train, an international children’s charity providing free surgical repair of cleft lip and palate deformities
